Trump and His Children Snub Twitter in Family Meeting With Tech Bosses

In a nod to nepotism and kleptocracy, Donald Trump brought his four children to a star-studded meeting with bosses from America’s biggest technology companies on Wednesday.  This was a clear power play and an attempt at charm offensive against an industry that vocally opposed his election. Ironically, Trump snubbed Twitter, the same medium he used for free to bully his way through the Republican primaries and later the general elections against Hillary Clinton. He explained his snub by saying Twitter is a small company, and thus did not deserve to be invited. Twitter is a $14 billion company. That explanation did not fit his exclusion of Yahoo, which is a $33 billion company. Strangely, AOL was also excluded. Republicans have for years accused Democrats of picking winners and losers.
